Mpho Mahlaba boasts a career that spans over a decade in the IT industry. His illustrious career began as a banking consultant for Sife International (Wits university chapter) and currently, he serves as an executive scrum master for Edcon.
Prior to joining Edcon, he was a project manager at EOH Digital – a digital home in which he left an indelible mark. Before that, he was a document reinvention project manager at InfoSlips, subsequent to which he joined SilverBridge as project functional engineer.
His other previous positions include portfolio manager and certified scrum master at SilverBridge, finance administrator and, later on, project manager at Silica, and share scheme consultant then client care consultant at Investec Private Bank. Prior to it all he worked as a commercial teller at Nedbank as well as a junior value add analysis project consultant at Standard Bank of South Africa.
Mpho, who is currently busy with his MBA dissertation in strategy with Regenesys Business School, holds a B.Com. Business Administration & Economic Science degree from the University of The North Qwaqwa Campus (now incorporated into the University of Free State) and a B.Com. Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
